A simple tool that top tennis players use
Have you ever seen a player using a notebook during a changeover?
Many players, like Ashlyn Krueger, do it during matches.
A notebook can help in three different ways.
The first is emotional. When you’re frustrated or anxious, those feelings can keep going around in your head. Writing them on paper gets them out and your brain has more space to focus on your game.
The second is mental preparation. Before the match, you can write down a few encouraging thoughts, like what you’re good at or what you want to feel like on court. During a difficult moment, you can read them to reset your mindset and stay positive.
The third is tactical. You can write your game plan before your match. During the match, when you’re stuck, you can open the notebook and read it. It brings your focus back to how you want to play.
A notebook is a simple tool that can help you clear your head and keep you focused under pressure.
Try it and see what works for you.

PS: The last one is what Ashlyn does. 🙂
